A BIT ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Bryce Souve. I was born and raised in Orange County, California, where I fell in love with my high school sweetheart. After getting married in 2010, My wife and I ended up having four sons and one daughter over the next several years. And we are beyond blessed to be able to parent these lively and loving kids.

Without a doubt, our hands are full, we are very busy, and it can get pretty crazy, but most importantly, our home is filled with love. As you'll see, they are my favorite subject to photograph and the inspiration for how I photograph others.

What starts with an engagement session, becomes a wedding, a birth story (or stories!), and ends up as a yearly (at least!) family session.

My hope is to become your photographer for life and share my love of family and photography with you.

FILM – MY TOOL OF CHOICE

Where'd you get that camera from? I got it from the 60's...kinda. I'm from the 90's, but my camera has a history of its own. I shoot film, mainly on a Rolleiflex 2.8F from the 1960's, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I actually started photography with digital cameras back in high school and I'm thankful to have learned a lot on those. But once I wanted to stop sounding like a machine gun firing in a war zone, I started delving into film photography.

Film slowed me down, made me more thoughtful, and really tought me more about the craft of photography. For me, film is my tool of choice to get the exact photo I want out of every moment I have the honor to capture.

As a photographer, I'm thankful that film is still very much alive and I hope you too get to enjoy the benefits of film photography as you enjoy the depth, emotion, and feel of your photos.
